📝 Role Summary
The Social Media Support Intern will assist the UN SDG Action Campaign team in shaping global communications, amplifying SDG visibility, and supporting digital engagement. The role focuses on creating compelling content, monitoring performance, managing digital assets, and enhancing campaign outreach across multiple platforms. This internship supports UNDP’s mission to inspire hope, mobilize communities, and drive transformative action for a sustainable future.

📌 Key Responsibilities
- Support content creation for social media platforms, including captions and multimedia assets.
- Monitor & compile reports on coverage, analytics, and engagement metrics.
- Create & schedule monthly content calendars using Hootsuite, Keyhole, and other tools.
- Research communications trends, audience insights, and emerging platforms.
- Map & identify influencers for collaboration and campaign amplification.
- Curate Trello boards, photo libraries, and video archives for team-wide access.
- Assist with community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and X.
🎓 Required Qualifications
Education:
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree program, or recently graduated (within 1 year).
- Enrollment verification required.
Experience:
- Experience with digital communications, content creation, and social media management.
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Canva, and other content tools.
- Familiarity with the UN system is an asset.
Languages:
- English (Required)
- Knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish is an asset.
