Compensation:
– Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance: USD 1,258
– Entry Lump Sum: USD 400

🎯 Role Summary

The Talent Acquisition Assistant will support the sourcing, outreach, and engagement of national talent to meet country-level volunteer demands for UN partner agencies. The role ensures a strong talent pipeline, promotes diversity, enhances candidate experience, and contributes directly to UNV’s mission of mobilizing qualified volunteers to support development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian efforts across Egypt.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

1. Support Local Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

Assist in attracting qualified national candidates in line with forecasted needs.
Identify and optimize talent sourcing channels, particularly for underrepresented groups.
Maintain sourcing records and outreach data using the UNV CRM system.
Provide suggestions for enhancing sourcing approaches and recruitment strategies.
Contribute to demand forecasting and market insights.
Track local labour and volunteerism trends relevant to talent supply.

2. Support Outreach & Engagement Strategies

Partner with universities, professional bodies, and community organizations.
Contribute to outreach campaigns and Special Programme Initiatives.
Assist with planning local engagement and awareness events.
Promote UNV opportunities and the spirit of volunteerism.

3. Talent Pool Development & Candidate Experience

Identify priority talent profiles and support strategic talent pool building.
Maintain up-to-date candidate information.
Provide clear communication to applicants for a smooth recruitment journey.
Gather candidate feedback to enhance diversity and inclusivity efforts.
Support Field Unit tasks during peak times or staff absences.

🎓 Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in recruitment, talent sourcing, or talent outreach.
Partnerships or communications experience is an advantage.
Familiarity with local labour markets and sourcing channels preferred.
CRM or applicant tracking system experience is a strong asset.
Volunteer or development-sector experience is beneficial.
