🎯 Role Summary

The Associate Consultant will support Mastercard’s Advisors & Consulting Services (ACS) team in delivering data-driven insights, strategic solutions, and hands-on implementation for global clients. The role offers immediate opportunities to create impact, collaborate with industry leaders, and contribute to Mastercard’s vision of fostering sustainable digital economies. As part of the Launch Graduate Program, you will rotate across projects, receive structured training, and benefit from mentorship from top professionals in the consulting and payments ecosystem.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Manage analytical tasks and conduct data-driven assessments for client projects.
Coordinate strategic consulting initiatives across industries such as finance, retail, hospitality, and technology.
Support delivery of impactful solutions using data visualization, modeling, and business intelligence tools.
Lead segments of client presentations, storytelling, and recommendations.
Analyze Mastercard, client, and third-party datasets to uncover trends and insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to develop innovative consulting products.
Engage with client stakeholders through virtual and in-person meetings.

🎓 Required Qualifications

Education:

Undergraduate or Master’s degree with graduation expected between November 2025 – August 2026.

Experience:

Academic excellence and demonstrated leadership in work or extracurricular activities.
Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, Excel, or Tableau is an added advantage.

Language:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Eligibility:

Must be eligible to work in South Africa without employer sponsorship.
