🎯 Role Summary
The Administrative Specialist serves as a vital point of contact for IRC Kansas, supporting community engagement efforts, assisting with client intake, and providing administrative support across programs. 🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Manage initial client intakes and provide basic referrals in collaboration with Adjustment and Referral Specialists.
- Coordinate and support community engagement events and volunteer inquiries.
- Assist staff with administrative duties, including office logistics and vendor engagement.
- Ensure adherence to IRC policies, including child safeguarding and organizational protocols.
- Facilitate the creation of tools, fact sheets, presentations, and templates for community outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners and clients.
- Support the team in delivering educational, social, and health services to clients.
🎓 Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of directly related professional experience; client-facing experience required.
- Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in languages spoken by client populations desired.
