🎯 Role Summary
The Human Resources Intern will support the Office of Human Resources (OHR) within the Global Strategy and Policy Division (GSPD) of the UN Secretariat. The intern will contribute to diverse HR functions including research, data analysis, workforce engagement, strategic communications, and organizational learning. 🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining internal records, databases, and SharePoint systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Contribute to communication, outreach, and knowledge-sharing activities across UN HR platforms.
- Design visuals, infographics, and videos in line with UN branding standards.
- Conduct research and data analysis on HR policies and best practices.
- Support the design and implementation of staff learning and development initiatives.

🎓 Required Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or related fields.
- Experience: No professional experience required; prior academic or volunteer experience in HR, communications, or research is advantageous.
- Language: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
