🎯 Role Summary

The consultant will develop and operationalize a global knowledge management platform for UNICEF’s Health Economics and Financing (HEF) unit. This role aims to enhance institutional memory, knowledge exchange, and cross-country learning to improve decision-making and funding strategies. The position directly supports UNICEF’s Health Center of Excellence (CoE) by consolidating evidence and strengthening technical rigor across HEF products globally.


🧩 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a searchable digital repository for health economics and financing products.
  • Operationalize an external expert review panel with SOPs and onboarding materials.
  • Create structured knowledge-sharing systems across Headquarters, Regional, and Country Offices.
  • Design and implement networking and engagement plans for HEF visibility in global forums.
  • Pilot a Fellowship and Embedded Expertise model within the Center of Excellence.
  • Lead knowledge retention and continuity systems for departing staff.
  • Support report drafting and maintain quality assurance across HEF outputs.
  • Establish a monitoring dashboard for real-time learning and adaptive management.

🎓 Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Advanced university degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, Data Analytics, Communication, Organizational Development, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in digital strategy, knowledge management, and systems design.
  • Proven experience working in international organizations or UN agencies.

Language:
Fluency in English required; proficiency in another UN language (e.g., French or Spanish) is an asset.
