🎯 Role Summary
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Specialist will strengthen evidence-based decision-making, learning, and accountability within the Peace Support Facility (PSF) — a UNDP mechanism that supports stabilization and early recovery in conflict-affected regions of Tigray, Amhara, and Afar. The role involves leading monitoring systems, GIS data management, impact assessments, and reporting to ensure measurable peace dividends and informed policy recommendations.

🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update PSF’s ArcGIS and Power BI platforms for real-time performance tracking.
- Design and oversee digital data collection tools (Kobo Collect) ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate implementation of the PSF Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Plan.
- Lead impact assessments and field monitoring visits, ensuring gender-responsive data collection.
- Produce clear and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Document lessons learned, case studies, and success stories for knowledge sharing.
- Support resource mobilization with data inputs for proposals and results frameworks.
🎓 Required Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Project Management, or Social Sciences.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning for recovery, stabilization, or development programmes — preferably in post-conflict settings.
Languages: Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
