Role Summary
The Programme Management Officer will play a key role in implementing UNCTAD’s Business Facilitation Programmes, supporting digital transformation and public sector innovation. The role blends policy expertise, project management, and technology integration to enhance service delivery and transparency across global trade systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and evaluate programme implementation and performance.
• Conduct research on business facilitation and digital governance.
• Support policy formulation for eGovernment innovation.
• Prepare analytical reports, proposals, and technical publications.
• Lead workshops, training sessions, and field missions.
• Coordinate partnerships with consultants and government agencies.
• Oversee project budgeting, reporting, and financial documentation.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Technology, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree plus two additional years of relevant experience accepted.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in programme or project management.
- Desirable: Experience in no-code platforms, Formio, Keycloak, and AI-driven systems.
- Experience in implementing eGovernment or public administration platforms preferred.
Language Requirements:
- English (required – proficiency level III).
- French or Chinese (desirable).
- Knowledge of Spanish, Arabic, or Russian is an asset.
